About Sandra L. Wagner

I design and make art quilts, wearable art and hand-dyed fabric including surface design. I am a past quilt shop owner and have taught workshops for many years.

I am an award-winning quilter with many pieces in private collections. I also have pieces published in “Furoshiki Fabric Wraps” by the Pixeladies, “On The Surface” by Wendy Hill, “Diamond Quilts and Beyond” by Jan Krentz, “Common Threads”, “Masterpiece Melody 2012” by Blueline Gallery, “America From The Heart”, by Karey Bresenhan and “Eye Of The Needle” by Bernina.

I teach and lecture at quilt guilds and private groups, and have taught at the International Quilt Festival in Houston. I was an invited designer at the Bernina Fashion Show in Houston. I show and sell my art pieces in galleries and shows internationally.

I am a member of the Studio Art Quilt Association, Northern California Quilt Council, Amador Arts, International Quilt Association, Sierra Gold Quilters Guild, Mendocino Art Center, Blueline Art Center, STASH Fabric Artists, and Amador County Artist Association.

My husband John and I live in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains in Northern California with our rescue Golden Retriever Sunny. Living in the mountains with the ever-changing views of nature provides a daily abundance of inspiration. Being able to work in a home studio surrounded by tall pine trees, changing seasons and wildlife keeps the inspiration flowing.
