I love the touch and color of fabric and cannot imagine life without it. I began quilting in 1979 following the traditional way but was not happy working with patterns all the time. I hand dye a great amount of my fabrics using cotton, silk, and rayon. The digital camera has come into my work in the past years opening up unending prospects for inspiration.
My husband and I live at the 3000 foot level in the Sierra Nevada Mountains and have three daughters and 5 grandchildren. When not working with fabric I travel, play golf, sing in a mixed eight part harmony group(38 strong), Women Barbershop Quartet and have great fun picking up fabric from around the world.
